Beef Stroganoff
Ingredients
1 x Beef Steak . Cut into thin strips
1 x pack (250g) mushroom. Sliced
1 Small Onion . Sliced
2 x Small Potato. Sliced
1 cup Beef or Chicken Stock
1 Tablespoon Flour
50ml cream
Parsley
Method
1. Cut Beef steak into thin strips
2. Sear beef strips in pan . Do not cook fully. Remove Beef from pan
3. In the same pan ;
Add 1 tablespoon Oil and/or Butter
Add mushrooms, add onions , Add potato (optional)
Cook until soft.
4. Add 1 Tablespoon flour
5. Add 1 cup Beef or Chicken Stock
6. Add cream
(adjust thickness of sauce by boiling off or adding stock as needed)
7. (Optional)
Add Mustard, Wostershire Sauce, Sour Cream
8. Add Beef back into the pan
9. Add Parsley to finish
