Nikujaga Beef Stew
Ingredients
200 gram Beef slices
3 Potato - chunks
1 Carrot - chunks
1 Onion - Sliced
Green snow pea
2 Tablespoon soy sauce
2 Tablespoon Sake
150ml Dashi stock
Method
- Lightly fry beef , remove most of the beef. Leaving a few slices in the pan
- Add potato, carrot to the pan. Cook until they start to soften
- Add onions.
- Add beef back to the pan
- Add Dashi stock
- Add Sake
- Cover lid and lightly simmer (~10min)
- Add soy sauce
- Check potato are cooked through
- Add snow pea
- Cover and cook 1 more minute
