Bolognese

 




Ingredients

Mince Beef (400g)

Celery (1 stick) 

Carrots (1)

Onion (1)

Red/White wine (1/2 cup) optional

Tomato (1 tin)

Tomato Paste (1 Table spoon)

Bay Leaf (2) 


Steps

1. Finely chop Celery/ Carrots/ Onion

2. Saute vegetables with some olive oil in Pot 

3. In separate pan, Brown mince beef on high heat

4. Add Beef to Vegetables in Pot 

5. Add Tomato Paste 

6. Add Wine , boil off alcohol 

7. Add Tomato

8 . Add 1 can of water, cleaning out the remaining tomato

9. Add bay leaf

10 . Simmer low heat for a few hours
